                Parkway Principal, Ms. Nicole Harris Awarded National Guard Patriot Award

 

Parkway school presented a schoolwide assembly focusing on “Heroes” and Black History Month. The assembly opened with a child friendly version of the Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech by BOE member Mr. Bradley and was followed by students sharing their dreams.

 

Ms. Jameson, who is a veteran Parkway teacher as well as a National Guard reservist nominated Ms. Harris for the National Guard Patriot Award. The award recognizes leaders, supervisors and/or bosses who has supported the Service member over a period of time. The Patriot award was presented to Ms. Harris by retired National Guard Lieutenant Colonel McKinley Williams who children attended Parkway school twenty years ago.
