The Ewing Public Schools is one of only 433 school districts in the U.S. and Canada being honored by the College Board with placement on the 7th Annual AP® District Honor Roll for increasing access to AP course work while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams. Perhaps most significant is that this is the second consecutive year the Ewing Schools have received this honor, a rare occurrence.
On March 20th, at the regular Board of Education Meeting held in Fisher Middle School’s auditorium, Superintendent Michael Nitti and School Business Administrator Dennis Nettleton will present the 2017-18 Preliminary School Budget to the public. After the presentation, the preliminary budget will be forwarded for approval by the Board, and then sent to the Mercer County Office of the Department of Education for their review and sanctioning. Ewing’s Special Olympics Bowling Team took home quite a haul at the Mercer County Tournament held at the iconic Curtis Lanes earlier this month, walking away with nine gold medals, five silver medals, and a bronze. Sustainable Jersey for Schools and the New Jersey Education Association announced that Antheil Elementary School has been awarded a Sustainable Jersey for Schools capacity-building grant. EHS Football’s standout defensive back Tyquan Parker committed to continuing his gridiron career and scholastic pursuits at Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas. Congratulations to the International Thespian Society at Ewing High School! For the first time in EHS history, Troupe 4883 has qualified for Nationals at the New Jersey Thespian Festival held on January 14th and 15th at Robbinsville High School. This is only the second year Troupe 4883 has competed at the state competition.

On occasion, a parent may have a concern, complaint, suggestion or request related to a school decision or policy. Many questions are easily and completely answered by communicating directly with the person in charge of the class or program. Each situation should first be addressed at whatever level the initial action was taken, with appeals moving on to the next level in the chain of command.
