Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the end of
the second marking period, I would like to remind everyone to continue to work
with your children at home on their schoolwork. Each night in addition to your
child's homework, you should be reading with your child. Fifteen minutes a
night (Monday through Thursday) is a good habit, and it helps establishes
positive bedtime routines for your children.
The winter months provide
us an opportunity to share some of our favorite books with our children. Encourage
your children to make constructive selections when they visit our school
library or take them to the Ewing Public Library.
Remember, children will
imitate what they see their parents doing, so grab a book and read to your
child. It will help establish good habits early in their lives.
Thank you for your
Edward J. Chmiel
